Dewpoint’s Home

Mike has finally made the move and joined the rest of us, here in Utah Valley, Utah, USA. We are extemely excited to have him join us in person, and look forward to his contributions to the sound as well as the personality of the band. Also of note, I have finished the skeleton for our grinder, Sadie. Sadie is a 10 and a half minute song, both our slowest to date as well as our fastest to date. It’s aggressive sound is aimed towards the hatred in this world and how powerful it can be, as well as posing the question to mass murderers who claim to have become Christians after the fact of their crimes, “Are you sure?”, it would be so sad to think of them as liberated and free from those sins, only to find out it was a lie or misunderstood mistake and their souls perish for all eternity.

We have started dabbling with lyrics and putting them to music, while the end result of the first attempt was less than exciting from a vocalist and guitarist point of view, the ground level foundation of the vocal sound has been put in place and we look forward to adding more songs to the collection with some growling as well as some clean vocals, to augment the style. We hope you will find these changes and additions to our band to be pleasant and welcome to those of you that remain our loyal fans after these last few years with little to show from us. Dewpoint

Hey y’all, we’ve been keeping busy with all the snow, working and other distractions, but we’ve gotten together and begun investing in some much needed equipment, and practicing again on a regular basis. We’ve not met our end of the year goal to have our demo done, simply because of a myriad of issues., but we’ve vowed to get stuff done. In the meantime we’ve set out to get some cover tunes together and start having some shows, both to court new members and to get tighter as a unit. We’ve started out with some Demon Hunter tracks that are meaningful to us, but yet heavy and diverse. We look forward to our first live engagement soon, so keep checking back to updates.

Yes that’s right, as alot of you regular fans are aware of, I’ve been working on Enlightened Perception, and been teasing you with excerpts and this and that. Well I happy to say, IT’S FINALLY DONE !! Nich and I have been working out the kinks in some of the riff changes and will be getting some initial recordings ready in a few weeks and we plan to release demo versions on our http://dewpoint-music.net/songs page. Drop into the #panheads room on irc.zoelife4u.org and bug jnbek about it if we don’t get it out to you soon enough, k? KTHXBAI!!

We’re excited and happy to announce the addition of a new media player, with several songs, and an updated listing of current songs can be found on http://dewpoint-music.net/songs so be sure to go check it out, and check back often as since the song writing has been picking up steam, and new songs will be added as they are recorded. This new media player will allow us to also share with our fans any and all videos related to Dewpoint or it’s fans.

Wow, another year gone, so much has taken place and we’re all excited about the prospects the new year holds. After almost 10 years, I was able to get my hernia found and fixed, and am happy to report that I am pain free !!! As for news regarding the songs, yes i know some of you have been patiently waiting, We have been busy writing new songs, and trying on some new techniques and styles, and just overall getting used to each other. Beginning in January we are planning on getting some of the new material available to hear, and possibly get a demo together. We are still looking for vocalists, bassist and maybe a lead guitarist. If interested, please leave a comment, and we’ll get with you. We are motivated to get some new material available because our drummer will have to go to school this August if nothing comes to fruition. So support us and Nich, so we can be assured a good future of eardrum blowing, mind expanding, nerve rattling, progressively attacking music, k??
